My own feeling is that even in areas that have more pediatricians available, people are often stuck with who takes their insurance and has an office close enough. Although I live in an area where the likelihood of finding a green doctor is fairly slim, it's good to have some hints to keep in mind whenever we look for a doc! I have to say also, that for me it's more important that a doctor respect the kind of natural care I want to offer my child than whether he or she is green themselves. But these all do seem like good ways to clue into their attitude. It's also heartening to realize that there are doctors out there who *don't* offer steroids and antibiotics without a thought. I'm so used to second-guessing my doctor, it gives me hope! Thanks for posting this Stephanie, and thanks to Dr. Greene! Great list of questions!
