I have never looked at my dishwasher's door vent before -- didn't even know it existed actually, but I went and checked it after reading your post, and sure enough, mine was full of gunk, too. Ewwww... is right! I wasn't having any problems with it, but you may have helped me avoid some. ;o)</description>
