My sister and her husband homeschool, and while my sister knows that I'll tell her if I think there's a problem, she also knows I don't expect any. For me, it's more the time and living in an area that has generally good schools. Since my daughter is happy with her current situation, and the school is so far good, no need to homeschool. And I really think homeschooling is best done by those who really want to do it. That drive just isn't in me so far. I don’t think of myself as terribly anti-homeschooling. But over the last year I have recognized it's benefits. Homeschooling is exploding in North America because parents are not happy with the current public school system. My first choice is a Christian private school but it just isn't affordable for a middle income family, so I also may be pushed towards homeschooling yet! I used to be anti homeschooling as well.
