I’m pretty excited about this. While I don’t like to travel much, I think this is going to be a good value of a trip for me. Something to help me build my business, which does matter, even as I try to keep it all green.

The really exciting part for me is that my husband and I will be driving there together. I was afraid that I was going to have to rent a car, that being one of the occasional disadvantages of being a one car family. Even beyond the higher prices, I didn’t particularly want to fly to Vegas when driving is so much more efficient… not to mention giving a freer schedule.

I’m really looking forward to the opportunities to network there, as well as the educational opportunities. Networking has always been a weakness of mine, which makes it much harder to grow a business.

And a break without the kids is nice once in a while too! My mother gets them for the weekend.
