I like keeping the towels stiff because they completely dried on the line, I don’t need to worry about having a loufa sponge or anything else for exfoliating in the shower because the stiff towel does that.

You’re right about jeans and towels getting a bit strange-feeling on the line, but I’m like Kisha and don’t have a dryer, so that’s how they always go. After I flatten them out with my hand as I fold them to hang, though, they always seem to behave, and they feel fine to wear and use.

No, I haven’t tried that. I like keeping things pretty simple. But it’s good to know there’s an option.

Do you use fabric softener on your jeans? I don’t have a dryer and my jeans don’t get crunchy, mostly because I spray all my clothes as they get hung up, with a fabric refresher.

But isn’t it nice to be able to not use the dryer as much? I bet your laundry area is a lot cooler without the dryer running so much.
